MLB25 stuff missing

I downloaded the game last night with early access. Today I made a profile and began to open all the packs I had received with early access. I started selling stuff I was not using which took my stubs from 20k received with early access to over 75k. During the time I was selling stuff I got an error saying “internal server error” and it just kept doing it when trying to sell anything after that. I couldn’t exit the screen and could not return to home page. I had to hard reset my PS5 and now all of my packs, and all of my stubs I had are all gone. I have zero stubs and the 25 or so packs I had left to open from early access are no longer there?

9 times out of 10, when issues like this occur, submitting a ticket is the only way to get it fixed. Don't feel like you're alone either, because this stuff happens to several users at the beginning of a year.

Did you link your PS and The Show accounts?

Yes, they were linked. Things are even weirder now cause this morning I ended up getting my gold packs back, but the 25 Diamond Packs or whatever they were are all still gone. Very frustrating. I had a Fernando Tatis Card on Diamond Tier that is gone and so forth.

I'd say try un-linking and re-linking your account. @Blind_Bleeder_PSN will that help?

Unlinking will only cause things to show back up if progress was made (or packs opened, stubs earned, etc.) and then a linking occurred with the account that made progress as the sub-account.
It has been a while, so I am not 100% positive, but I don't think a user's MLBTS account is linked to console accounts. I think it is created as the mother of all accounts to keep track of what console accounts are linked, deliver Twitch packs, and the Scouting Report.
Here is an example of how packs end up "missing" when accounts are linked:
- I played on my PS5, opened some packs, sold some cards - i.e. made some progress.
- I decided that I wanted to play on my Switch because I was going out of town, so I linked my Switch (or XBox, whatever) to my PS account, BUT, I accidentally made my Nintendo account (or Xbox, whatever) the primary account, and my PS account the sub-account.
Given the scenario above, when going into the game to play, all of the progress, stubs, cards, etc. on the PS5 are hidden under the Switch version of the game. Only the state the Switch game was in when linked will show up. Many people will report their stuff is missing when this occurs.
To fix it, the accounts must be unlinked and then relinked, making the PS account primary and the Nintendo account (or Xbox, whatever) secondary when linking.

The way the OP wrote their post didn't make it sound like any of this happened, so I concluded that the user was hit with the missing items bug that some people get when a new version of the game releases. Thus, my advice was to submit a ticket.
