MLB Discussing realigning divisions this year. Cardinals would be in a division with the Nats and Astros, so we wouldn't win anything lol. Also universal DH, which would probably mean that would become permanent moving forward.
So ST? How does that matter?
@yankblan said in Anyone see the potential new divisions (Cactus and Grapefruit League)?:
No, not ST, regular season. The American League and National League become the Cactus and Grapefruit League. Teams are put into divisions based on where they play in Arizona or Florida. The Cardinals would play the regular season in a division with the Marlins/Nats/Astros/Mets.

Pretty sure it won’t happen, they will always prefer geographical/historical rivalries. Teams on the west coast would be at a disadvantage even more. But it makes for a nice read when there’s no baseball.
The DH thing I believe is a matter of time though.
Edit: ah, saw it was a one-off for a shortened season. Makes more sense now, thought it was going forward lol, sorry, nothing to see here
Back to the way it used to be
Pretty dumb to be honest. Stop trying to force it. Play when we can play, if it's not until 2021 so be it.
Woo! Brewers could easily win that NW Cactus division...
But overall, I'd rather just wait until the game can be played normally. If we get to September and we can have live baseball, just have a giant tournament and that'll be fine.
I’m a simple man. I see an article was written by Bob Nightengale, I don’t read it.
