Has there ever been a pitcher on the cover? Aside from Ohtani, of course. I can't remember ever seeing just a pitcher. Someone like Skenes could be the first.

I think Marcus Stroman was on the Canadian version of the game's cover.

I will be very upset if Elly gets the cover. LED the league in strikeouts, sub .260, not even top 30 in every major stat besides stolen bases. It’ll be another Jazz situation. They just pick the “flashiest” players that deserve none of the hype. Really disappointing.

Forbes writes elly, skenes and henderson will be on show25 cover. And maybe also legend. They write if you buy it digital you can change it who you want to be on cover

I do love all the hype over something that really doesn't matter. It's not like a see a massive amount of people using Jeter, Guerrero or Jazz in the game.

Well, if Elly is on the cover this year, he was an OOP Starting Pitcher in 24, so I guess that counts.
