SDS will never go bankrupt, because every year I have some complaints, and then every year I preorder. I'm sure there are many more like me out there.
Speaking of ... When can I preorder? Soon? I hope soon...

Good then don't buy the game, no one will miss you. You seem to be the only one who has a problem with this game. I've been playing this game game since mlb 22 and it's just been getting better every year and I will continue to buy it when it comes out
Champs , I have to disagree with you on the games getting better every year . I’ve been playing for the last 4 or 5 years & really loved this game . But I think last yrs was a disappointment & this year was far worse . Reading hundreds of comments on this forum this year it seems the majority of fans think this also , except for the normal 4 or 5 people always praising the game . This yrs. Version has a lot flaws . I hope SDS does a hole lot better next time . I love baseball & I like everyone else just want to play a great game of baseball.

Are the mods still here? Time to close a thread I guess?
Free expresion dude. A right that can't be broken.
I'm the voice of millions of person that brought the game but are in disagree with the mechanics in this game.maybe … but this thread is done since post#1, so - like in any forum - it can be closed …
Just don't read it and stop been gossip.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it is not right. We paid for the game. We deserved better. They sold us a game with broken mechanisms.maybe … but since post#1 nothing new is in this thread … (and even #1 and especially the title was pretty bs)

@Thundergod2567_XBL back in the Joe Mauer cover days I remember it being a nasty sweaty fight to get a 1-0 small ball win vs. the cpu.
Not so much this year, or ‘22 (I skipped ‘23). I think it wasn’t a foregone conclusion to beat the cpu in ‘18, but… I mean that’s a lot of beers ago.
It seems like when I think about this series, I think about how fun and innovative it was, not how fun and innovative it is.
So I tend to agree with OPs (and others) sentiment. Many companies would pay good money to hear their faults from a real-world focus group, tangible or perceived. Not sure if SDS is in that camp, but, there is some value there.
(I do think Professional Baseball Spirits graphics and animations look like straight cheeks though.)

Yeah, I don't get certain peoples excitement for that game. It does not look that good to me at all.

Almost as if MLB as an entity has changed the rules to benefit the offense over the years and the video game based on MLB followed suit.
"If it's in the game, it's in the game!"

I'm sure neither of you owns the game, and you're judging based on what you see on YouTube, with videos showing downgraded graphics and low resolution. But in reality, what truly shines in this game is the gameplay itself.
In The Show, you see the same plays repeated over and over again. Ground balls straight to third base, easy fielding—there's no excitement, no challenge. You don't even have to work for it. You don't really field the ball; it just mostly goes straight to the glove. The park feels small and cramped. It's completely different.
In the other game, the field feels huge, and you can make big plays, exciting plays, things you simply can't do in The Show. In The Show, everything is too easy—hit the ball well, and it's either a fly ball or a ground ball, right into the glove. You don't even need to field the ball. It's absurd. The animations are always the same, repetitive and boring.
Now, we're talking about a game like MLB The Show, which is heavily scripted. The system already determines what's going to happen, unlike a game that gives you the chance to showcase your skills. A game where you're the one making great plays, fielding well, and thinking quickly.
MLB The Show makes elementary mistakes that you never see in the major leagues. They try to present the game as realistic, but there are plays that have nothing to do with what happens in real baseball. The players behave and react like fools sometimes. The reactions are slow, like we're playing with a little league team.
This is supposed to be a major league game, not a little league one. The difference between these two games is huge—completely different experiences.
