Do the hitting and batting captains only boost, hitters or batters or do they boost both?

If you read the Captain description on the player card details it tells you what stats are boosted.
Captain of captain Derek Jeter will buff pitcher and batter captains because he adds batting clutch and pitching clutch which are two different stats. It may not expressly say what type of position it boosts but the stat that it boosts will tell you.
Most team based captains will boost both versions of clutch or something else.
