Update AJ Puk
-
This is getting idiotic at this point. Since June AJ Puk has a 0.93 ERA and has 71 strikeouts against 6 walks. One of those being intentional. Since being traded to the Diamondbacks, he has a 0.26 ERA. Only giving up one run in three months. Give me a [censored] second half hero’s card at least!
He started out brutal with the Marlins with a 7.61 ERA the first three months of the season in a smaller than usual sample size after dealing with injuries.
Being rated a 63 common at this point in the year is just brutal. I’m sure there are other players out there needing a massive increase as well.

They don't care about nothing but fake cards and awful DD. It's terrible Jacob Degrom have a hitting card 100 power 100 contact, Elly De la Craz throwing 100+ mph on the mound lmao. Game is bad no good.

And the worst part is the lack of content right now. So you're basically forced to use the OOP cards or you can't field a competitive S3 team.
If we had to use the OOP cards for a week or two it wouldn't have been quite as horrendous.

Well, first off I will add the usual ERA does not correlate to any of their attributes so it is useless as a stat for the game.
That said Puk does seem way too low.
Puks K/9 rating in MLB is 12.04 (ranks 16th) and his in game attribute is 58
Erik Miller has a 12.02 K/9 rating this year and his in game attribute is 75
Jason Adam has a 10.09 K/9 rating this year and his in game attribute is 71
Daniel Hudson has a 8.85 K/9 rating this year (Ranks 101st) and his in game attribute is 64Puk has a 1.63 BB/9 rating in MLB (he ranks 10th) and an in game rating of 51
Sean Hjelle also has a 1.63 BB/9 rating in MLB and an in game rating of 93
Jalen Beeks has a 3.41 BB/9 rating in MLB (he ranks 100th) and an in game rating of 57Puk has a HR/9 of 0.33 (Ranks 13th) and an in game rating of 70
David Robertson has a HR/9 of 0.66 (Double - Ranks 40th) and an in game rating of 84Those are the major contributors to a pitchers rating. The real numbers come from fan graphs of all relievers.
My only question is whether Puk slept with someone's partner or ran over their dog because he is getting shafted.

Puk deserves a bad HR/9 rating because of the last two years. But other than that hes been fine, it really is weird hes rated so low

Last year was bad for sure at 1.6, but every other year has been under 1.0. He has lowered that to 0.4 this season but that attribute has only been bumped by SDS only one time all season. So I understand him starting out lower but he has pitched a full season and it's not going up much at all.
I am the first to throw water on these posts normally, but it really does seem like they have shafted him.
Among relief pitchers from my post above
16th in K/9
10th in BB/9
13th in HR/9Here has been his updates
79 to 73 in April
Reduced to 68 when switched to RP in May
68 to 65 in June
65 to 63 in JulyNow I am willing to accept some Wonkiness because he spent part of the year as a SP and then switched to RP but this just seems strange to me.
