So what should I be playing?

I just picked up the game on PS Plus after not playing MLB 23. What should I be focused on? I don’t want to do online. I don’t feel I’m good enough. I also don’t plan to spend any money.
Any suggestions?

Before I answer: are you asking which mode you should play (e.g. Road to the Show, or Diamond Dynasty)? Or do you know what mode you want to play and are looking where to start?

I would start with Storylines. Both The Negro League and Derek Jeter.
You'll get some decent cards, that can be used (Subway Series) in programs.
Then once you complete them. Do all the Moments, except for TA Moments.
Once you get some of the cards, from different programs, I'd start on Mini Seasons (leave TA ones alone).
Then work on ALL the TA Conquest Maps except the one where you only get vouchers.
You'll eventually start to unlock cards that you can use in those maps.

I’m playing Diamond Dynasty, basically. No online, events. Just stuff by myself.

I would basically start with what @X-FREEZE-OFF-X_PSN mentioned. Also, when you get comfortable enough with conquest, do certain maps like the Shark Map, you get some decent free packs there. I also heard the dog map is really good, but I haven’t done it yet myself. If you have any specific questions feel free to message me. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the forum until late and I am so tired, so sorry if I overlooked something.
