Lindor is only an 85 while arguably being the best all around player in the NL this year. Thats far more egregious then merrill not being a diamond

Merrill has had in my opinion the better season than lindor considering lindor goes through ALOT of stretches where he doesn't hit during the season

Does anybody ever look at the ratings that got changed and see if they jive up? Merrill needs to hit better against lefties. He has almost a 100 point difference between his BA vs righties and lefties. He is batting .223 with an OBP of .254 against lefties this season.
Sam kind of holds true for Duran he has a little better rating against lefties (64 contact) but much lower power against them (40 power)
When it comes to Lindor the reason he rates higher is because he hits lefties and righties pretty equally.
You have to look at the ratings and then the underlying stats that goes with those ratings.
