Why hasn't this been fixed yet?

For everyone saying it is a "controller issue," you are 100% incorrect.
I am currently using the Edge controller and have replaced the sticks twice. I have tried using the stock controllers and it has happened using them as well.
This issue has been occurring since last season. Many users complained about it happening then as well.
I just thought/hoped it would have been corrected this season.No, the controller does not rumble when this occurs. Everything will be working normally and then out of nowhere, I will select a pitch to throw and instead of the movement being nice and smoothe while making the pitch diagram, it seems like it is "jumping" from one spot to the next which causes the pitch to be massively off target.
While hitting, it seems like there is a delay or something and the PCI movement is jerky and jumping from one area to another instead of moving smoothly. -
@Crimson_Monk_PSN Nope.

@jake98833_PSN Yes

@Crimson_Monk_PSN No, it isn't a controller issue.
-
Have you tried replacing your controller

Sony has just faced a class action lawsuit over stick drift issues with PS5 controllers. I have a launch PS4 controller with zero issues, but both of my PS5 controllers experience drift. It seems that Sony knowingly sold defective controllers.

@jake98833_PSN I will try using one of my DS4s now. Interesting

I don't doubt that at all. I have gone through so many PS5 controllers since getting my PS5 that I have lost count. Just paid for an extended warranty from Game Stop (which is good for one year) and kept getting controllers and paying for the warranty every time. They are way worse than PS4 controllers ever were.

@TEXAS10PT_PSN My controller is perfectly fine. I have zero issues with any of my controllers while playing any other game. What I am talking about is 100% not a controller issue. It is an MLB The Show issue.
Last season was when it first started happening to players. It occurs intermittently. Sometime, I can play for hours with no issue only to have it begin mid game. Other times, it will begin within the first game I play. I can play the '22 version of the game and no problem. I can play all my other non baseball games without issue. MLB 23 or24 it happens.
This issue has absolutely nothing to do with the controllers as they all were perfectly on every other game.
Additionally, this issue only occurs while pitching or batting as I am able to control my fielders without any problem.
I use Strike Zone for both pitching and hitting and that is the only time it occurs. -
@sbchamps17_NSW I have 4 stock PS5 controllers. It has occurred on every single one of them at one time or another going back to last season's game edition.
Additionally, I currently use the DyalSense Edge controller, and I have replaced the sticks with new modules (3 different sets total) and it still occurs at random times. -
@jake98833_PSN This isn't drift.
