Not earning XP
-
Is anyone else not earning XP? Played since the new content came out today but I haven’t moved of 1,093,803 XP? Any suggestions?
-
An hour later, have played Affinity moments the entire time and have gained two, 1000 do awards. Up to 1,095,893 xp now

Uninstall and reinstall the game.

Do not uninstall and reinstall your game. Folks, the reason why this happens is most often due to you capping out your XP. XP is part of a rewards program, and yes, at a certain point you will cap it out. If you play the game only for XP rewards then I guess you can follow this advise. But, if your goal is to continue a career in RTTS, Franchise, or even DP, then don't do this as it will zero out your careers in these respective game modes.

I’m not capped. My xp hasn’t grown all week. I have been playing just franchise mode until this morning when content came out. No xo growth today either

That's not the reason for not getting XP, it just happens sometimes and all you need to do is uninstall and reinstall the game and you start getting XP again. Not everyone caps out their XP especially when it's double XP weekend

I wrote that it was the most common reason. Nevertheless, if you uninstall and then reinstall this game, merely because you want to resume earning XP, then you will also be wiping out your saved files for RTTS and/or Franchise game modes. If this doesn't matter to you, then by all means do so. But, I think it is important that this be explained.

Thats not even remotely true lmao. The save files have nothing to do with the game data. I still have save files for every Show since 2015 in the cloud and 2021 on my console.

What do I lose if I uninstall and then reinstall? Do I need a disc? I used a digital download

You dont lose anything.

And how do I reinstall without the disc? Will Sony still have it available for me to download?

Go in your games library or PSN store and click on the download option..

Uninstalled, then reinstalled. Getting xp now and both my franchise and RTTS are still there.

It's always the case alot of people uninstall and reinstall and everything is still there. What you said before is wrong. I've had to do it multiple times and haven't lost anything. SDS would probably tell you to do the same thing If you stopped getting XP
-
Personally, I think it's a bit dumb to cap xp. Let us earn as much xp as possible, since not everyone lives and breathes the game.
-
This XP Cap is total BS and needs to stop!
-
Considering the caps purpose was to keep ppl from getting the bosses too quick,to keep progression even and a level playing field, when ppl found a way to progress XP and have the bosses in 3 weeks, the cap became reversed and just became a hindrance to everyone else.they need a new system. one like the programs where objectives give progress and take gameplay XP out of it completely, an XP path can be there but that should just be bonus stuff.
