Switch pitcher

First, I have to give credit to SDS for making this happen. It's super cool. However, the left-handed pitching movement is wrong. Everything comes out of the left Hand and breaks like it was right handed. I hope they fix it because otherwise it's a pretty awesome card.
Also thought it was cool that it was almost a secret drop and I liked how you could earn it by doing a showdown which was a nice change of pace.

I like that a switch pitcher can counter switch lineups. I understand there's only one in the league right now but having multiple switch relievers, from a video game perspective, can balance the meta.

@AdeptOfMemory_PSN if the rule is actually working, pitcher selects hand to throw with per plate appearance and then the batter decides where to hit from. I guess you could select their “worse” side.

Thanks! That's kinda lame. I would think a switch pitcher should get the advantage as the switch batter already gets the advantage over the general left/right pitcher.

Yeah i agree or at least rotate it ever switch hitter vs switch pitcher at bat to balance it.

He’s in tbe Draft 24 showdown, its only 2 rounds , enter final round facing him with 30 outs and down 10-1, was pretty easy

Now im in a ranked game using Jurrangelo and its giving me the pitcher the advantage in the switch vs switch matchup, i have no clue how they decide who has the matchup advantage now lol

That sounds like the preferred interaction. I'd much rather have the switch pitcher have the advantage. Switch batters get an advantage over L/R.

Yeah i agree, you can only run him out there every 5 games anyways, so give him the advantage, the switch hitters will have the advantage in every other game.

I used him in an Event game, and I kept thinking "wait... this is backwards".

@bostondirtdog21_PSN what I do is use the slider as the changeup, and the other way around. The sinker can’t be fixed tho

I played an event game and the switch hitter got the advantage, but when i played ranked the pitcher got the advantage, no clue why, hopefully they will shed some light on the parameters.
