It wouldn’t be so bad if this game didn’t have such insane lag compensation. I’d rather be away than home in those matchups.
Yeah, absolutely. The lag compensation in this game is very aggresive

So I see this game is 20th on Xbox Live already and dying fast. So I’ve noticed in the event it’s taking forever to find a match and when I do the people are 1000s of miles away. It would be nice if we had a decent match maker in this game but it’s probably too late for that at this point.

How do you know that they're 1000s of miles away?
Message them and a lot of people have team names indicative of areas on the west coast usually. I play with crossplay off also so many people have their location in their profiles also.

They never had region in for matchmaking. And events is not taking forever

Well that makes sense why my input delay has been so bad and it’s been near unplayable lately

It seemed like they had it in previous years, I would match with people that are allegedly far away only if my matchmaking bar moved to the right, I usually got people in the east coast or the caribbean, now it’s instant match making at the expense of connection quality.

Regions definitely were involved in matchmaking before.

Crossplay question just to follow on this matchmaking thread -- I'm a PS user and I have crossplay turned off (since a few weeks). I matched up with someone today who had the Xbox logo in the game summary screen after the match, but in the game history there's a PS logo. Anyone know why this would be the case?

@cbpm72_PSN their account is linked, played on PlayStation but their Xbox logo showed up at the end because that was what they originally signed up with
