Can’t sign into Nintendo account

Trying to log into the mlb the show companion app and it won’t let me sign in with my Nintendo account (platform I play on). It says like error connecting to servers or must login with the show account. So I go to log in with my show account (which has my Nintendo account linked) but it just takes me back to signing into my Nintendo account which, again, continues to say errors. Is this the games fault, nintendos fault, or mine?? How can this be fixed because id love to be able to use the app.

I got around that by using a different browser (the Samsung Internet app).
