Can cards values change from season to season? I currently have the 94 diamond card for Ohtani and was wondering if I should sell to be able to have stubs for a future 99 Ohtani or if in keeping him he may turn into a 99?

In my opinion, if it is the core version KEEP him. He could get boosted and will always hold value since......he's Ohtani.
If he's a S1 card then you could be more confident selling him if you can't wildcard him or are in love with his swing. -
I don't think I've seen a LS player go to a 99 in DD since I've been playing this mode starting in 2020. That said, I think the LS 90+ cards take their first big hit when there's a Flash sale for 90+ cards. In the past, I think that has happened in the July timeframe.

I actually pulled him from a pack and can sell him for about 170,000 stubs right now. Im just scared not to sell him and a 99 Ohtani to come out in season 2 and his value go down. -
Right you pulled his live series card which is a CORE card, I was talking about the other guy saying that there was a season 1 card that was out there that you could sell but there isn't he's a Topps Now card from the season awards program that's a season 1 card non-sellable

it all depends on if you want Babe Ruth or not. if not, sell him. However I used that 94 ohtani for more than half of S1. if they keep the same model he'll be relevant most of the way through, plus he's the biggest piece to getting Ruth which is arguably the best card in the game.

Ohtani's LS card value isn't tied to him being 94 OVR as much as its tied to the LS set completion for Ruth. So if they release a 99 OVR Ohtani card, it will have minimum impact on his LS card
The price will go down as more people get Ruth. Flash sales for 90+ diamonds will lower it as well, but Stub sales will jack it back up.
So really if you are looking for Ruth don't sell, but if want stubs to help improve your team now then selling now is about as good as it gets.
