Basically nothing makes any sense. They use the wrong names, call plays that aren’t happening, it’s completely non sensical, I’m assuming it broke after the update.
My friend, maybe you don’t like it this way but try turning all audio off except for the effect sounds. It’s peace and quiet, you can play some relaxing music in the background, it helps to deal with the BS the devs throw at us.
This would be fine and dandy if there was also a way to mute online opponents childish sound effects.

I have not liked the commentary since '21. Another thing that bothers me, is that my stadium sounds are being played, as a visitor, in my opponent's home stadium.... My chosen stadium sounds should only be played at my home stadium.

Play the new storyline. Last night every guy Bill Foster struck out "hit a long home run" and two of the batters he faced were the 2nd round pick of the Rays in 2015. I started muting it after the second moment.

I finished the new storylines yesterday and didn't have any commentary issues. Seems to just be random I guess. So weird.

I agree that it seems to be random because I haven't heard anything different from the announcers and I did the storylines yesterday and there were no problems except for the occasional unhandled server error I got sometimes

Jake Cronenworth and Max Muncy pitch in every game I play apparently and there are lots of errors being made in the field before I’ve even thrown a pitch. It’s like I’m listening to a terrible pads v dodgers game in the background.

This kind of makes you miss the phony commercials in Triple Play Baseball....
I've never encountered this. Maybe because when I play at night, I have on earbuds, listening to B.....P.....M, or some other music. -
The first thing I do when loading the new game is turn off the songs and the commentary. I also listen to Spotify while playing.

I'm getting this issue in RTTS after the latest update. At every at bat I'm introduced as someone random or Simieon for some reason.
Also the situations are random. End game summary is messed up too. I could go 4 for 4 and the commentary would say he had a bad night and struck out 3 times. Really annoying.

Lol I havent been having PA issues until I just noticed them last night after reading all the posts.
The announcer in my games were just saying at walk ups "At the plate, the Catcher" or "The third basemen..." Then not say a name lol -
I experienced the same issues. Everytime my rtts player walks to the plate the anouncer says it marcus simeon. Or at the end of the game it will say I struck out 3 times when I actually had a great game and went 3/4 with 3 homers. WTH!!!
