    Hello all,
First of all just wanna say I'm not new to sports games and sports in general, I'm a huge hockey and fotball fan. I recently bought The Show as I'm trying to get more into baseball this summer and I found a few things with the gameplay. Straight up is the game rigged? I'm still learning and I'm not the best, but I'll sometimes have a 5+ lead in the 8th or 9th inning and have the opposing CPU team obliterate me within minutes. Is this a known thing or do I have to learn against CPU that makes strong late pushes? It's a bit frustrating because sometimes I feel that I play pretty well, but it all means nothing come the end of the game, I find myself losing mostly when I have a lead and rarely when the opponent scores first and I wanna know if it's something I can improve on or if it's just like all other sports games.
    Thanks, All!

Also, I should note I've only played the Rockies as of right now, and I understand they're not a good team, but do ratings really have that big impact on how games will go?
    Thanks!

The ratings do matter and the Rockies have the worst attributes (as of now), so they are the team to beat. I beat them 24-1 earlier today.

Are you getting beat up at the end of your game because of pitching? Watch your pitchers energy. Until you get the pitching down pat, you may consider putting in a reliever. There are some pitchers they absolutely bury when I play them…Nestor being one of them.

Keep playing, you’ll get the hang of it. It’s a fun game once you get past the quirks.

As far as being rigged. There are players who will swear by their life that it is and then there are others who say it isn’t. It’s my opinion that the cpu learns our tendencies, so it’s best to not be routine and vary the teams played.

i believe that the CPU is situational , for instance , get caught stealing and then the batter hits a HR the next pitch ,ALL THE TIME ,

ball flickers as it reaches the strike zone, clearly going out of the zone so no swing , after filcker its a strike

flyball to outield trajectory cleary going to fall except after it leaves the screen it just hangs out of site until fielder gets there

need a player to get a HR let every other player strike out and the CPU graces him with a HR
