Great game so far

I haven't played any other mlb game as I have just recently got into the sport. Been playing a lot of exhibition games to get used to things. I noticed foul balls happen a hell of a lot and don't know of that's accurate with a real game of baseball as I have never watched a full game of baseball as I'm in the UK so just watch highlights. I really like players to resemble their real selves in sports games like their likeness and wear the same equipment as they do in real life. Are most players accurate and do they continue to update their looks/attires after release?

There hasn't been a different MLB game since 2011. SDS is the only one on console.

RBI Baseball was still being made with the last version released in 2021. It was MLB Licensed. It may not have been very good or as evolved as The Show but it was was available.
2k Baseball had a 2K13 version so there has been alternatives on console since 2011.
