Is the outfield grass mud?

I'm not sure many people have noticed but shooting a ground ball into the outfield and the ball basically stopping isn't very normal. how is this not talked about more?

Have you seen the way the ball bounces on the outfield grass though? There is obviously concrete under there.

@ChuckCLC This. Insane how a lazy fly ball will bounce over your fielders' heads.
