Just a heads up to possibly prevent someone from wasting their time: apparently someone posted on Twitter that they completed the new TA Extreme Showdown but no progress applied to Team Affinity..
If true, how much worse can this “content drop” get?

Stay away from Showdown, don’t waste your time

Make sure that it's the right showdown and that it's moments are on all star or higher because if it was veteran then it's the wrong showdown

I haven’t turned the game on since the content release so idk but the posts I saw on Twitter mentioned “extreme showdown”
I’d just stay away from that until it’s either acknowledged (LOL) or until they fix the season 1 collection bug
Either way it would be extremely [censored] (no pun intended) to grind out an extreme showdown and get moot for it

This could totally be a non-issue but idk, 2 people mentioned it so I just wouldn’t risk it for those playing

I've seen plenty of people getting progress for the extreme showdown so like I said make sure that it's the right showdown

Yeah I wonder if this is another case of people doing the regular showdown for vouchers and not realizing it. Happened a lot with Chapter 2 as well on the first day.

Like I said, I could totally be wrong posting base off what people tweeted as those people could have made this error
Was only posting this thread to potentially save someone time from a glitch

@sbchamps17 I definitely did the season 1 ch 3 showdown and beat Blake treinen and got no progress for it. It is definitely a bug right now so don’t waste your time.

I also can say I did the correct showdown, have 4 vouchers but no progress in TA.
I also had wins in events not count.

Treinen is the regular showdown for vouchers. Wood is the extreme showdown for 20k TA progress.

You have to exchange the vouchers for it to count towards the TA progress.

Kerry Wood is the extreme showdown boss so make sure that you do that one, if you end up facing Treinen then it's the wrong showdown

Double check the fine print.
If you face Treinan at the end; you only get vouchers.
If you face Wood; that one is the Extreme and gives you 20K.

Ok I just finished TA CH 3 vs Blake Treinen and got 2 vouchers. LOL ...It was definitely not worth it, for me at least. It used to 20k per Division for CH 2, and apparently, that was too much of a reward.
