I suck

I know I suck, but how is it possible to lose 16 BR games in a row across 8 different entries? And not get a single win? (Aside from one where I lost connection with the opponent before the first pitch even happened)
The matchmaking system is so bad.
Am I the worst there is and there is no one worse than me out there to match with? I just can’t believe it’s that lopsided. I keep facing people with the pencil bat meanwhile I can’t get to 600 in ranked myself.
I have receipts.

That’s why I don’t play BR or online I know I am not good

BR this season was rough for me.
I beat a couple of those pencil-necks, but I had quite a few 0-2sShout out to the guy who actually intentionally struck out once he had a huge lead and then grooved one to Bryce Harper, giving him the HR needed to finish off the 350.

Bro I feel ya...Im too much of a chicken [censored] to try online...I'm having a hard enough time enjoying this game as is, adding the stress of being online fodder would make me want to yeet kittens off a balcony ( /s just in case it's needed)

I miss the offline grinding, especially the mlb the show 22 200 point programs, they released those like every 3 weeks

Just turn off messages and jump in online. Worse case is you get clobbered. If you are going to quit just wait for the homer to land and back out and try again. The range of talent online is so varied in early stages that I am sure you would surprise yourself.

Practice, get a decent monitor/TV. A good controller . Oh and did I mention Practice.
Learn to use cards that bunt for hits and steal bases.( don't bunt dance)
Oh and did I mention Practice?
Learn to read your opponents pitching patterns. 1/2 of my hits happen when I know what he's going to throw and where because of pattern recognition.
Coincidentally my opponents destroy me when my pattern becomes predictable.
And uhm. Oh yeah Practice. -
