Disc's not working???

I bought a hard copy of the game for ps5 on launch day. It worked fine until a few days ago when the disc stopped being read. I ejected the disc and reloaded, and the game worked again for the evening. Next day, the disc couldn't be read again, I tried multiple times with no luck. So, I tried other games with no issues. Exchanged the game at the retailer and tried again, nothing...still won't read the disc. Tried again today to exchange and try a third disc. No luck with the third disc. Is anyone else having a problem like this?

No problems like that with a digital download.

Why would you have to pay for it twice with a digital download? You can download the game from your account on any console that supports the version you bought.

Did you unistall and reinstall the game; when you got a different discount?
Is it scratched?

I did delete, but since the disc can't be read it won't re-install.
