There is just no winning with this community. These cards are too bad. These cards are too good. There are not enough packs circulating, yet they don't have to give out free packs at all (MUT doesn't and neither does 2K). Not enough conquests, but conquests aren't worth it.
If you don't like the game then delete it. Nobody is forcing you to play this game.
I dont think anyones complaining about "not enough packs circulating". I think the main complaint is that they nerfed our stub and xp methods and have too many overpriced packs in the store with no other ways to earn them. For people who do collections, needing nearly 400 cards to complete the season 1 collection and having more than half of those cards locked behind a paywall without content such as programs or conquests with hidden packs is ridiculous.

That is the most "real" post I've read this year so far, it is getting nauseating seeing those fanboys. Can't even point out a real issue without someone chiming in with "git good", "you don't know real baseball", "SDS is so awesome", etc., etc.

@TripleH-4481, that's a bit disingenuous, don't you think? You seem like a reasonable person, but this isn't a reasonable take. I mean, what are you doing, then, if not taking a side in this supposed "tribalism" with your post.
We've all seen that excessive complaining here sometimes leads to changes with unintended consequences, so I think that some people (I can only speak for myself, but I don't think I'm alone) chime in to make it clear that the loudest opinions on these matters are far from unanimous and undisputed. One person's "valid negative point" is another person's misguided nonsense, and rather than trying to "save the day for SDS," I bet some people are just trying to show that there's another narrative to consider aside from the endless litany of grievance that we feel is overblown and, frankly, childish.
I have my own problems with the game, but they tend to center more on game play physics and the magical powers of the zone reticle... the issues around account resets and server stability are definitely disappointing (in occurrence and SDS response), but maybe I'm a little more forgiving than most as I just did other things for a couple of days and chalked it up to Mercury in retrograde.

There is no debating that DD is still ahead of other UT modes out there, it's the trending towards those other games that is really concerning. I'm still playing, but if this is how they are going to be all year, then I'm probably going to call it quits for DD just like those others. But I also accept that I'm far from the target audience as I don't play online and I don't spend money.

Absolutely right. However, what I’ve seen is the die hard supporters don’t want to hear anything bad about the game even when it is staring them square in the face. So when a concern is voiced it is quickly extinguished and if all else fails people will just say it’s still better than Madden or 2K. There is no denying the game has been far less rewarding than years past and the packs and their prices being released reek of corporate greed. The game can still be fun but it’s a shell of what it was just a few years ago.

Not true. 2K has daily login packs, and a wheel spin after 7 days. All season, locker codes are released and this time of year, they're 90+ players.
2K are serious crooks, but be fair. -
I just want the repeatable xp and stubbs for mini-seasons. Don't know why they nerfed that, having to play 34 games.

Amen brother! Those who constantly defend SDS are usually those who are terrible at the game online. It's just a bunch of offline casuals who enjoy beating the cpu on rookie 3-0 every game while eating sammiches, cheetos, and drinking monster energy drinks... Those who write weird flexes of how good they mash the ball with bronze Holliday against the cpu on rookie. "Bronze Holliday is great for me! He's hitting .800 for me on rookie!"
Like bro, if I ever play a game on rookie, I'd never get out. The score would be in triple digits by the 5th inning... smh... -

I uninstalled when I realized how silly it was playing with him and a juiced Webber I got from the 3v3 mode

They nerfed it for the same reason that they made stubs hard to earn and xp hard to get: to incentivize people to buy stubs. The best cards are in packs so far, not programs.
It's so glaringly obvious. If TA2 doesn't address some of this, I'm probably ditching DD.

It's the same 5 or 6 guys here...same thing on Reddit...the same group of 5 or 6 guys blindly defending the game. Don't get me wrong, when it's unreasonable thing to complain about even I'll jump in and say "c'mon that's ridiculous"...but when it's a completely valid negative point, blind shilling is just an ignorant look.

I think this might be true as well. Streamers, social media, and the forums are all roasting the direction of DD and the game as a whole. They have ears and eyes. But they also have game data and sales data. Tomorrow will indeed be a big day, potentially make-or-break, for this cycle. You can only squeeze your customers so much after releasing a broken game and refusing to apologize.

This fanboy and hater mentality is really not helpful at all. At the end of the day it is all just a matter of opinion. Just because your opinion may be the majority opinion doesn't mean it becomes an objective fact.
This is an open forum. If you post a topic about disliking something then there is a good chance that someone will disagree. But, the reverse is also true. You can't post on an open forum like this and expect it to just be an echo chamber, where everyone falls in line with your opinion and everyone who does not just stays quiet.
