Bug in 1.04 causing full settings reset to default?

I did a Challenge of the Week and went back to the menu. I walked away for a bit and the simulation mode came on. When I clicked out, I noticed the soundtrack was playing in the menus again (I always turn the music off). When I checked the settings, ALL of my settings had been reset to default. All of my cameras, audio settings, game settings, EVERYTHING was reset back to default.
I'm on PS5 with version 1.004. Be warned to not let your game go to the simulation screen!!
