5th year without Babe Ruth the position player again just Babe Ruth the Pitcher

So since MLB the Show 19 we only been getting Babe Ruth the pitcher, come on SDS we been asking for 6 years to give us back the Babe we all love, Babe Ruth the position player known for hitting home runs. It is such a simple solution just give us another Babe in the game as a position player.

You referring to DD or Franchise?

He is a 2 way player and can be used in the outfield. He was an outfielder in 2023 as part of Set 1. It was either Chipper, Pedro or Babe the OFer.

Franchise, Exhibition the normal roster
I know he can be used as an outfielder etc but he is still starting as a pitcher we need him as a position player only he only pitched like 4 times with the yankees

@patrickb1973_XBL Just play him out there. I’ve used Ohtani in LF before without any issues and he’s never played the outfield in real life. He didn’t miss any starts while I did it either. Just place Babe in your RF or LF spot. They must both be options for him.

I know that but you have to do that every game you start, you cant just put him in a position on the roster

@fubar2k7 Ohtani did play RF and LF in 2021 in real life. Six games in RF and one game in LF.

This sucks. You basically have to insert him at the lineup selection screen. I assume they do this so he can be a 2 way player like Ohtani.
Edit: Your work around to this would be set him as your DH and move him to LF or RF. At least he’s in there and you won’t accidentally forget him.
