Decided to open some packs today. Did a 10 pack and hit a Yelich. Decided to sell so that I could open a 20 pack and still have plenty left to buy singles that I like.

20 Pack was crazy. Started with Josh Hader, then Jose Ramirez, and closed out with Mike Trout. Just to put the icing on the cake, the Gold Pack had a Jacob DeGrom. I've never had this kind of luck.

Now, I have to decide what the next move is. Do I sell some of them to buy others? Keep them and try to finish divisions later on?

It appears they just dragged you into the lowly addiction of the show. Mark my words this will not end well for you. all the Mike trout's in the world won't make your hits and pitches do what your input tells them to do. Don't get me started on the random errors for no reason.

What's the point of pulling diamonds in packs if you're just going to sell them to buy more packs? Like, if the point of buying the packs in the first place wasn't to get good cards then why buy them at all?

I usually sell when I get a decent diamond, save some to buy other singles for my team/collections, then use some to open more packs. Tough this time though, never hit Trout before.

If you're trying to build your team or finish collections you're a lot better off just buying the cards in the market.

And if you do pull a good diamond and you want to improve your team/do collections then just keep it. You've got a high-level card for free.

Buying packs, selling the good pulls, and then buying more packs is literally a cycle that ends with you spending all your money until you have nothing to show for it. You either have to stop at some point and keep your "winnings" or you keep the cycle going until you're broke with nothing to show for it

About 200 packs in, 20 of which were headliners, I finally pulled Acuña out of a headliner for my first diamond of the year.

Why would you sell Trout to buy more packs? Isn’t he the beat possible reward from a pack anyway?!? Like trading in the Gold Medal to run the race again... If you had that good of luck I would recommend going after collections.
