Wait, there are 3 XP caps in a 24 hour period?

I got a timer last night saying I reached an XP cap that would be in effect for 4 hours and 10 mins or something like that.
Does this mean there is a time based interval XP cap instead of a total daily cap???
If that's the case then people have a right to be upset with the way the cap is implemented. I'm on record as saying I don't necessarily have an issue with the cap but if this is the way it is structured then that's complete BS.

People have every right to be upset about any exp cap. The game cost $70-$125 and you're only allowed to progress at SDS' chosen rate? That's f'ed up no matter what the cap is.
