Interface Issues, this game needs some serious UI improvements

I've seen a lot of comments about the interface, and here is another one.
I've shown SEVEN people, including my two sons, my wife, and a couple of friends, and EVERY single one of them is dumbfounded at this interface. Now, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There is bright flashing in certain modes, too.

You should see the grey background on a PS5 - it's almost blinding. I don't understand how this color pallet and font system passed QC.
