Accumulating stubs

Is it just me or is it INSANELY hard to accumulate a good amount of stubs (no money spent of course) so far this year? I feel like I’ve been grinding like crazy and have been hovering around 65K and not increasing at all.
Is this by design so that people will pay up for stubs or am I just missing something here?

I don’t know, that seems about normal for this point in release. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s about where I usually am for the first couple weeks.
