How to complete Team Affinity faster!
-
So far, I managed to complete NL East and AL West pretty quickly.
Obviously the first steps is to get to the first boss pick by doing the moments and Showdown first.
Next, I'd stack your lineup with one or two teams from that division to build up ta points faster.
Go and play the CPU on rookie in short high elevated stadiums.Get to the first boss pick and select Closing Pitcher WAGNER first for NL East. And either Iglesias or Leclerc for the AL West.
Go do the Conquest for those Team Affinity divisions. Have those pitchers start and pitch 3 innings for each conquest game. Doing so will automatically get you 10,000 points each game under "single player missions."
It is repeatable. You could also do this on ranked. All u need to do is pitch 2 innings for 15,000 points.
And make sure you stack your team with the division you're doing.
The team missions are repeatable.
Once u hit 60k ta xp, the rest only takes like 8 conquest games max to do.Some team affinities don't have this option. But they have a pitcher option. The ones with 9 ip, I suggest going to play vs cpu and pitch that pitcher a full game on rookie.
This should help knock out TA quicker

Yep, this is the way. All divisions except AL East have a pitcher boss that can be used to finish these very quickly!

So basically play the content they've provided at launch. This isnt exactly breaking news here.

None of my friends knew this bc they didn't read any of the mission descriptions.
Most grabbed the best hitter at 60k.
By grabbing a closer, you get 10k xp every 3 innings. I highly doubt this was intentional. They may patch this bc it takes longer to get to 60k xp than it is 200k xp after 60k... -
@Shauwn Your friends must be casuals...

Perhaps they were casuals how else would they have time for friends lol
-
@BxnnyMxn_ IDK lol OP told me yesterday that i must be a casual if i like the "grindy stuff" because he's super competitive and only plays ranked. He seems to be going back on that statement with his super fun novel telling everyone else how to complete the grind fast lol
-
I've already gotten to 60k on two TA just playing 5 ranked games and 6 or 7 conquest games with 1 20k exchange using all 6 Aron Nolasco for under 7500 I wasn't ven really paying attention to using players from certain division or anything so I deffinetly thi k it's much easier this year to progres.... Did anyone else receive a random millionaire pack when they got there first 60k player I di and I have no clue where it came from got a headliner pack that ripped Corbin who should be a diamond by the way lmao

I wondered why your responses sounded emotionally salty.
If my thread doesn't help your grind, then why even reply? -
Same old method as every year, nothing to see here.

@iBonafideScrub_ Yeah except they’ve never had repeatable 3 inning missions for a huge percentage of the entire program…. All I saw was tears from people busy looking for things to cry about instead of actually playing and realizing how fast TA was to complete. Never been done faster lol. In fact I think I’ve completed all of TA once before this because it’s the most boring ahh grind on the planet and it certainly didn’t take one day lmao.

Lol people mad they did exchanges instead of looking

My point exactly. Figured I'd share what I discovered just by taking the time to read the missions.
The NL East and AL West was by far the easiest to get done once you hit 60k. By taking a relief pitcher, and only needing 3 ip to get 10k xp repeatedly seems like a mistake on sds's part. This Is why I decided to share with the community for those who didn't know, and for those like myself who complained how tedious TA seems this yr compared to last yr

Just remember this is only one of three team affinity programs for season 1. There will be plenty more pointless grinding.
