Do you have crossplay on or off? Do you have a teammate you play with regularly? Do they have crossplay on? Or off? There are known issues with Co-op and early in the game’s cycle it operates better if all players are on the same console. Try turning off crossplay and see if that helps.
And if your game does freeze, turning your controller off and on a few times can unfreeze

You guys realize that freeze-offs have been going on got years and if SDS hasn't been able to 'fix' them yet; they won't in a year.

They havent fixed it because it cant be fixed. When you can zap in and out of any application while it is running, a good number of manipulations are possible. This would be a PSN issue and totally out of the realm of the Shows ineptitude. Badda bing badda boom.
