WHY THE PRICE INCREASE?

Why did they have to increase the price of the special edition version from 100 to 150? That's crazy.

Where are you getting your pricing from? The Digital Deluxe is $100. The MVP is $85. The NL is $125, but that is because it comes with a steel box and a hat (which is essentially $25 for those two things. Try and buy a new New Era baseball hat for $25 - good luck with that).

@Blind_Bleeder He’s comparing it to the Jeter special edition which came with the steel case and hat but was the same $100 price as the digital deluxe last year.

I’m positive someone from another country shared the pricing in the forum and it was higher. Probably tariffs for the physical copy and whatever laws exist with digital media.

It's because of currency conversion. The game is $154.95 in Australia, which is equivalent to $100 in the USA. It's less expensive in Europe compared to USA (but more expensive in Canada) when the currency conversion is taken into account.

Inflation is a thing , yesterday I tried to by a whopper they said $8. Huh ? For a whopper? Not a combo , a single whopper with no cheese.

No they don't. I originate from Europe (live in US now) and we pay the same price over there.

I paid 130 Canadian for the game last year, I got both the PS4 & PS5 versions, early release, and stubs + cards. This year I can get the same for 104 Canadian.
That digital not disc.
