I'm curious as to why SDS has decided against a PC release, when the current trend in gaming is to have a simultaneous PC release. Maybe they're afraid of the mythical Hackerman, but seemingly nobody else is so that'd be strange. It can't be a difficult port since the PS4/PS5/XBOne/XSX releases are all x86 and would be extremely easy to port. At best it seems like money left on the table, at worst it seems like an outdated mindset...

First of all, the only reason they are no longer exclusive to PlayStation is MLB was going to pull their license if they didn’t make XBox and Nintendo versions. They didn’t just up and decide to make those versions. If MLB decided the PC market was worth it then I’m sure this might come up when the license renewal comes up.

PC games are likely to be hacked and full of cheaters.

The concern is probably more about modding than hacking.

As someone that avoids consoles like the plague because it's always 5 years behind the average computer, I wouldn't touch online play. I'd like it on PC for modding, playing at 144hz, ultrawide resolution at 21:9 ratio, not this archaic 16:9 that you're forced to play with console. If it wasn't for The Show I'd have no use for a console, I've only owned a PS4/PS5 for this game. Also, hot pockets and red bulls and casual newbs, that is all.

@Jacky-Chan1 are these hackers and cheaters in the room with us? That whole line is massively overblown. You don't hear about the seas of cheating other sports games with PC releases, and there are extremely secure anti cheat systems (Vanguard for intance detects when you're cheating in OTHER games outside of Valorant or LoL)
