I’m a lot closer than you but I’m uninterested in Albies so I haven’t really tried to get him. But I agree that 250 is incredibly hard to get. I’d be broke if I tried to get the rest.

Thank you, thank you. I noticed the prices moved a lot yesterday. I bought around 20 cards. Today, I’m going to begin BR to see if I can earn the more expensive ones.

Mini Seasons was a good call. Thanks. I picked up all the Lefty Loosey, Righty Tightey, Captain, Gold, Starling Marte, and Mark Mulder cards the program had to offer.
That not only helped with the Set 1 collection, but also the Set 3 (Righty Tightey packs). I already have Set 2 done, so the Captains didn't help much, but it's good to have them.
So, now I'm 26 away from Set 1 being done, and now I'll move on to BR to see what I can get there.
I appreciate all the feedback on this thread!

Hey I wanted to ask about this Forever mini season. What is the criteria required for the team builds does anyone know? I was hoping it would be all cards eligible but I’ve noticed I’ve not been able to put together the team I’d like. I built me a solid team in the classic mini season before but I’m unable to use the same cards so just wanted to ask what the particular requirements are for the Forever team

@BxnnyMxn__PSN Its any card that didn’t exist before this years game. Basically whatever cards you can use are the ones they allow you to chose from your inventory of cards.

Thank you brother and I just looked thru the goals section and see what it is I need to be doing now. I guess I’ll try to see how many of them I can still complete I should still be able to right the ship I believe as I’m only a few games in.
You know I find myself wanting to do the classic mini season again since I’ve got me a really fun team finally but I don’t want to do it since this forever season has such cool looking rewards. I’m loving that Finest Tim Raines card and I was looking for someone to place in CF when much to my shock I saw that I now have the Griffey Jr from the Extreme program so i must’ve clicked over my zillionth instance of 25k points in order to get him! I'm stoked! He's been striping the ball!

It's any new card series this year. I have a spreadsheet outlining the goals if you want it. I focused only on the goals that got the packs I wanted, so my hitters were captains and eventually right-handed captains. My pitchers were a mix of RH and LH (a mix of series) with Billy the Kid as my closer so I could get his mission in Extreme closer to being done.

Okay - I've looked at the BR program and rewards.
I can get 21 of the 26 cards I need from the BR Program Rewind pack (I already have the cards from the silver and gold packs). I need to get to 160 points (six packs) to get the 21 cards (I'll end up selling three of the cards from the last pack).
I have (in the past) averaged three wins per entry (I'm around a 400 to low 500 player, if I remember correctly). Assuming I can get 500 PXP from gold, silver, or diamond cards in each entry, I'll need to enter 27 times, spending 40,500 stubs. That's if I can maintain my three wins per entry.
I can exceed the spent stubs selling all the silver, gold, and diamond cards I already have (assuming the prices hold). So the stubs are not an issue. And, I'll still need to buy the last five cards to finish.
It all boils down to if I want to enter 27-30 times to do this. I'm going to have to sleep on it because that is a lot of work to get Ozzie Albies. (Remember, I'm old, slow, and lazy...)

Would it be cheaper to just put buy orders in for them? Just asking as it might save you time, are you NMS?

It wouldn't be cheaper, but it would save a lot of time. I believe the cost for me to buy them is around 300k now.

I was just asking because I don't play online so I had to buy them all, even though I don't play online I still somehow managed to complete all the collections NMS, now waiting patiently for mlb 24 to come out since I also finished all the programs and the US conquest map multiple times

@Blind_Bleeder One thing to remember… You get those 2-player-choice packs along the way, which you can reach earlier than those calculated 27 entries. Those will get you around 150K each (if you don‘t keep em)

Thursday night I did my first major card flipping of the year. Went from 9k to 200k in less than 20 minutes. Started with 84 LS cards then went to 99s. Easy flipping. A few hours of flip/game/flip will get you far, fast.

@BxnnyMxn_ It says on the screen in the Forever Mini Seasons, I think at the top, I do not have the game on yet but If I remember correctly it includes all new card sets that came out this year like kaiju and incognito, I hope this helps some.

@GixxerRyder750 I haven't played it in a while but I'm pretty sure it's captains and new series introduced in The Show 23 (Charisma, Incognito, Kaiju, Snapshot, etc. plus 2023 All Star, 2023 postseason, 2023 Finest, etc)

Right. I’d make plenty of stubs, that’s not the issue. It’s if I want to spend the 27 entries (~110 games online, and I don't like playing online) worth of time to get the points for the 6 diamond program rewind packs I need.

Yes, but you do not need those 110 games … play until your first 2-choice-diamond pack, sell them and buy lots of the others
