    @FOE713 best advice is a cheaper monitor, holiday season so some may be on sale, this game or all games in general arent meant for TV's anymore.

    @FOE713 Unless you got an AWESOME OLED, Monitors are the way to go. But i'm old school and play on a 75 newer tv, probably switching to a monitor would get me 100 games over .500.

    I don’t know the answer for you because I also am using a monitor but it sure would be nice if someone could actually answer with the actual answer instead of preaching alternate devices without realizing he might not have the ability to have a TV and monitor in the location he has his console at. For example: his console is in his entertainment center with his television.

    A monitor allowed me to never get World Series to get World Series pretty much every season. Its that big of difference and it doesn't have to be a good one. I play on a average All-in-one HP PC that isn't made for gaming.

    If your TV has a game mode, definitely start with that as it will help tremendously. My brother has an OLED with game mode and we tried playing MLB without using game mode once and I don't see how anyone could hit anything online just on a regular TV. At least I know I couldn't anyways. As for your HDR settings, I have mine turned off in my xbox settings since MLB is the only game I play on there, however I'm not real sure how helpful turning it off has been. I'm not sure of any other settings that are going to help but if you are able to hardwire your xbox or playstation with an ethernet cable instead of using wifi that will also help.

    If you already have your TV in game mode and you are on the fringe of making world series, then yes, a monitor could definitely help you get over the hump. However, if you have it in game mode already and are struggling on All Star then definitely don't go into it with the expectation that a monitor will get you to World Series right away.

    @FOE713
    It depends on your setup...
    What is your display (TV or Monitor model)?
    What is your system (ie PS5?)?

    My setup includes a LG C3, PS5, and a home mesh network. My TV settings are on game mode (which includes ALLM). My PS5 settings include HDR "on when supported", VRR "on" (and "on when not supported"). Other hardware settings include a hard wired Cat 8 network data cable to a mesh satellite and a HDMI 2.1 digital media A/V cable from console to TV.

    To me, the LG Oled TV series has been the best gaming monitor for the next gen consoles since their inception. While some gaming monitors have caught up with them, I still prefer the LG display.
