New Team captains?

It’s seeming more and more like there is no set 6. I know it says there is on the filters but the schedule makes no mention of any new content or rewards other than a new map. Just that all cards are available. No TA. Bummed the way this year played out in terms of rewards. It was extremely heavy on current day repeats and light on Legends.

I'm guessing this is the "Forever Program". I can't imagine another TA6. I'm guessing a lot of Rewind packs, a long XP path with former cards...
In another few weeks, SDS will start talking about the Beta for 24.

Not sure if the game already has one (can't find one) but how about a Switch Hitters Capt card? seems there should be enough to field a team and bench with the amount of SwH in the game currently, just thinking out loud.

Not sure I understand your reply X-freeze-off-X, I am talking about a Captain Card that says it boosts Specifically Switch Hitters. From your answer are you saying just use Any LS Hitter or Pitchers? How would a Pitcher Capt boost a Switch Hitter? I am new to all this Captain card stuff having started '23 in Sept but with some of these other "theme" captains I thought a switch hitter one would be fun to make and try.

Been running Captain team builds in the new event, and it's been fun. Even with the current event restrictions you can put together some fun squads with the Short Kings Captain Joe Morgan, Venezuela Captain Salvador Perez, And the Captains Captain Jeter

I kind of doubt there will be a Season 6 Team Affinity because I think it would say it on the calendar.
The question is whether there is a set 6? Part of me is leaning towards yes because we will get new cards. But part of me is leaning towards any cards being released in season 6 simply being Core cards. I say that because we are getting new packs in January (Finders Keepers 4, 5, 6 and 7)
The only reason, in my opinion to actually have Set 6 cards is to do another collection and try and entice people to buy stubs one final time this year.
