I got ddosed and MLB The Show needs to give us an option to appeal our Loses because of crashes or ddosing
-
During my 1st match of the night I was winning 2-0 in the in the 3rd inning and then my game crashed but my Xbox logo on my console wasn't blinking and I was like "Huh? Must be a crash or just my console".
I went back to the game and went for another Ranked match cus I want to finish the night with a W and then I played my next match I was winning 5-0 in the 5th inning and then my game crashed AGAIN and the Xbox logo was not blinking or anything and I was like "Wait a minute what is going on with this game?".
So then I persevered and then went to play another match and I was losing 0-2 in the 5th inning and I hit a 2-run home run to tie the game and game was working fine and then when it was the bottom of the 6th inning I hit a go-ahead home run and it was 3-2 and 10 seconds later my game crashed AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME and the Xbox logo on the console wasn't blinking and then I was like "Ok now I think I got ddosed or something".
I played against 3 Xbox players in a row and was beating them in Ranked Seasons and my game crashed 3 times in a row when I was winning and now I realised that this might be a new way for players to cheat the game.
I swear to god if SDS does not give us players the option to appeal a Lose because you got ddosed or the game crashed then MLB 24 will flop like a magikarp.

I find that highly unlikely that you would encounter three different people out of three attempts that would do such a thing or even know that such a thing exists. Have you ever looked into what it takes to pull something like that off it’s certainly not easy and wouldn’t they need to know the precise node and IP address in order to target your specific game in progress
One way to tell would be to check your router admin menu and go to the logs. If you’re playing on wifi it could’ve been something as simple as someone cooking a chicken pot pie in the microwave or a neighbor opening their garage door lol

My Xfinity goes out at the same time every morning. On the dot. It isn't your opponents.

Just lost a game because I tried playing before my morning internet crash. I have no idea why it does it. Anybody else have daily drops at the same time?
I played wired by the way.

Hey try the log file in your routers admin screen it might at least show what’s happening and from that you may be able to deduce if it’s something that your ISP is doing verses some wacky router issue. I know it’s a bit of a hassle but performing a factory reset on the router has helped me out of similar oddities and if you’re quick about setting the passwords back to what you have them at now once you’ve done this you can at least get it done without everyone else in the house complaining about not being able to sign in lol.
I do feel for you though that sounds incredibly aggravating. I hope this helps it and it very well may -

They're waaaay easier to get now, if you have the funds. I just bought a second because my system would shut off if I didn't reset it. I would get a prompt: 'too many USB devices connected.' I would see flashes on screen, and all audio would become garbled.
EDIT:
Then it would shut off. I was scared af, because it happened the first week I got it, but the database always restored. It works fine, but I decided to treat myself to a new one that doesn't shut off!
It's so ingrained in my head that I think about resets, although I don't have that worry anymore! -

Much easier to get now. I’m getting myself the XBox Series X for Christmas. It isn’t a bad thing having both consoles. Sony and Microsoft won’t disown us. If it’s possible money wise obviously. I don’t wanna be the guy defending internet being too expensive then tell people to buy 2 expensive consoles.

@SkunkyTrees1977 My internet is fine if it was my internet the game would say "Lost connection to opponent" and then gives me the L without sending me to the Xbox dashboard
-
@SkunkyTrees1977 If my internet crashed it would've sent me to the MLB The Show menu instead of the Xbox dashboard
-
@BxnnyMxn_ If my internet was the reason the game would've said "Lost connection to opponent" and then I would've been sent to the game menu. My game crashed 3 times and it sent me to the dashboard and to me it doesn't sound like it was my internet becausr I checked my internet and its still working good.

Try it and find put. All I know is that others, who had the same problem with their game crashing, were told to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Definitely sounds like a system issue. It isnt losing connection, so isnt your internet, or theirs. Which means they cannot be kicking you. Your installation is most likely corrupted.
