During my 1st match of the night I was winning 2-0 in the in the 3rd inning and then my game crashed but my Xbox logo on my console wasn't blinking and I was like "Huh? Must be a crash or just my console".
I went back to the game and went for another Ranked match cus I want to finish the night with a W and then I played my next match I was winning 5-0 in the 5th inning and then my game crashed AGAIN and the Xbox logo was not blinking or anything and I was like "Wait a minute what is going on with this game?".
So then I persevered and then went to play another match and I was losing 0-2 in the 5th inning and I hit a 2-run home run to tie the game and game was working fine and then when it was the bottom of the 6th inning I hit a go-ahead home run and it was 3-2 and 10 seconds later my game crashed AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME and the Xbox logo on the console wasn't blinking and then I was like "Ok now I think I got ddosed or something".
I played against 3 Xbox players in a row and was beating them in Ranked Seasons and my game crashed 3 times in a row when I was winning and now I realised that this might be a new way for players to cheat the game.
I swear to god if SDS does not give us players the option to appeal a Lose because you got ddosed or the game crashed then MLB 24 will flop like a magikarp.
Buy a PS5.

They're waaaay easier to get now, if you have the funds. I just bought a second because my system would shut off if I didn't reset it. I would get a prompt: 'too many USB devices connected.' I would see flashes on screen, and all audio would become garbled.
EDIT:
Then it would shut off. I was scared af, because it happened the first week I got it, but the database always restored. It works fine, but I decided to treat myself to a new one that doesn't shut off!
It's so ingrained in my head that I think about resets, although I don't have that worry anymore! -

Much easier to get now. I’m getting myself the XBox Series X for Christmas. It isn’t a bad thing having both consoles. Sony and Microsoft won’t disown us. If it’s possible money wise obviously. I don’t wanna be the guy defending internet being too expensive then tell people to buy 2 expensive consoles.

@SkunkyTrees1977 My internet is fine if it was my internet the game would say "Lost connection to opponent" and then gives me the L without sending me to the Xbox dashboard
-
@SkunkyTrees1977 If my internet crashed it would've sent me to the MLB The Show menu instead of the Xbox dashboard
-
@BxnnyMxn_ If my internet was the reason the game would've said "Lost connection to opponent" and then I would've been sent to the game menu. My game crashed 3 times and it sent me to the dashboard and to me it doesn't sound like it was my internet becausr I checked my internet and its still working good.

Uninstall and reinstall the game.

Try it and find put. All I know is that others, who had the same problem with their game crashing, were told to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Definitely sounds like a system issue. It isnt losing connection, so isnt your internet, or theirs. Which means they cannot be kicking you. Your installation is most likely corrupted.
