Trick and Treat Programs Question
-
I am shy one treat and two trick vouchers to finish the programs. I have done the Jack-O'-Lantern map, but not the Trick or Treat showdown. I know you can get one trick voucher there, but I'd rather not deal with the showdown if I don't have to.
From reading as many posts as I could find on the programs, the vouchers seem randomly delivered. But, I haven't had one delivered in a long time (except for the treat one I got from the map).
The programs state that 13 is a key ("13 is generally a spooky number"). I have seen many posts about 13 hits, players with the number 13, 13 Ks, etc. Are there any definitive answers to how to get the last few vouchers I need (except for the one in the showdown)?
Thank you.

13 Ks with one of the pitchers from the program, that's how I got some, the showdown is pretty easy this time, if I can do it you can too, this is saying something for me because I can NEVER compete showdown and I did that one the 1st shot on my Nintendo switch with timing hitting

"It's a trap" as General Ackbar would say.
Okay - I will give it a try.

I had stopped receiving them for awhile too, but hadn't played any Play Vs. CPU Games...I think I loaded up with any and all cards I could from the program and just went to town on the Rockies in a Vs. CPU game. Got my last 2 trick cards that way cause I didn't want to keep playing the showdown although it is fairly simple. I'm not sure what I did to acquire them, but I'm pretty sure I did try to get 13 K's w/ one of the Starting Pitcher for sure
-
Thank you @sbchamps17 and @GixxerRyder750. My next CPU game will have pitchers from the programs.

Well, that wasn't it. I pitched 23 PS Triston McKenzie (from the program) and he got 13 Ks. No voucher. Sigh.

Try playing with Patrick Wisdom, I hit a HR with him and got one, but the showdown is probably the best bet

I'll give it a shot. I'll throw Jake Cronenworth from the program in there, too, just for good measure. First, I'm going to try an all-uniform number 13 lineup, though.
Edit: Heston Kjerstad's card (95 TN) attributes from the Manage Squad screen show him as using #13 on his uniform (in the picture, too). In the vs CPU game I played, he was #75 in the animation, so I checked the back of his card while in the game, and it showed him as #75 there, also. So he has two numbers for the same card. The number he has for this card in the API database is #13. I have no idea if this glitch affected my #13 uniform lineup as far as trying to get vouchers.

Smart. I played a game where I scored a boatload of runs and got one of them after I had completed it. Running as many of those guys out there would be a good call.

Nope - that wasn't it. Here is a link to the game log in case anyone is interested in the stats.

Adding Wisdom and Cronenworth to the lineups worked. Each hit two home runs. I received 1 trick and one treat voucher for that game. I also pitched a complete game with Anderson (PS card from the program).

I read on here somewhere 13 strikeouts with Anderson gets you a voucher. The hits might be what got you a voucher. I think it was 13 hits and 13 strikeouts.

I don't know about the hits. In the previous game (where I had all #13 uniforms) I had 24 hits and didn't get a voucher. I am going to play another game with this same team and use Anderson as the pitcher to see if I can get one more Trick voucher.

It might be 13 hits with Wisdom. I have to see how many hits I have with him. I’m pretty sure more than 13. Could you have hit the 13 mark in the game?
-
I have 15 hits now with wisdom and didn't get one, though some of those were CQ some vs cpu and some MS,that might be it.( did get a trick for 13Ks with McKenzie)
-
Not sure about the Trick vouchers, if you havn't maybe try playing a few event games or BR, but for the Treat voucher you just have to play the Jack' O' Lantern map again.
-
The 'Trick' has to be Wisdom, since he has 'trick' in his name. That has to mean something.
-
What I did was finish the program the hard way. Then they just kept poppin up.
-
Did you do the showdown yet

I had over 13ks with him earlier today and didn't get anything. Looks like I'll have to do the showdown. Drats!
