XBox WiFi connection
-
Since Xfinity is out in our neighborhood, I decided to connect my console using the hotspot on my iPad so I could play some cpu games.
Being new to Xbox, is it correct that the console won’t grab a wifi connection while there is an Ethernet cord connected to it?
I disconnected the cat 5, but is that really necessary, or did I miss something?

Not familiar with the Xbox. But if I remember correctly you have to change the connection in the PS settings.

Right. With the PS it doesn’t matter if the Ethernet cord is plugged in. You can switch back and forth easily. That’s why I think I missed something in the XBX settings.

Looks like we did the opposite and the same thing. LOL. you bot a xbox x to play the show along with your PS5, and I got a PS5 to play the show along with my XBX!

I'm interested in your comparison. I play on the XBX about 90%, PS5 5%, and Switch 5%. I like the Fusion Pro 2 controller more than the PS5 controller (even though I've never had an Xbox before), otherwise, the game is the same between the two.

@Blind_Bleeder I haven't got it yet, I may get it this weekend since it's like only 20 bucks. The PS5 controller is what is interesting me about it since of the haptic feedback. But in the other thread I posted , most people are saying it doesn't make that big of a deal.
I've played some other sports games and it's going to take me time to get use to the PS5 stick placements. I think that's natural coming from the Xbox controller stick placement.

I’ve had a real problem with those psfive analog sticks. The rubber coating has worn off on all four of my controllers on the left one. They still work fine and I bought the four of them when it first came out so hopefully they’ve made them better by now just putting that out there. I really don’t even play that much either. Sometimes it’s aggravating though because my thumb will slip off causing me to miss terribly lol. I know I’m probably to blame my son points out to me all the time that I grip the controller too hard he says he can hear it squeaking and cracking in my hands. Oh to be young and able to hear that kind of thing haha
