What happened to the default rosters?

When I load the default rosters, nothing changes. I'm stuck with the live rosters. Anyone else?

This has been the case for like a week now.

I can help you get the latest rosters.
Go to settings and select file management.
Click on load and select rosters.
Click on live rosters.
It’ll say “live rosters have loaded successfully” then you press the OK button.Once you’ve done this make sure you save the roster before it goes back to default.

@fubar2k7 yeah that wasn't my issue. I want the default rosters. when I load the default rosters, it loads the live rosters. even when I exit modes like franchise, where it gives a warning that exiting will reset the rosters to default, I'm still stuck with the live rosters.

I got you know. You said it very clearly and I whiffed on my reading ability. That must be the new default roster since removal of the WBC players during update 21.

@fubar2k7 interesting. i didnt even know they removed them. that at least makes a little sense. i hope they can get the original default rosters back.

It probably isn’t possible because of the WBC players. I’m assuming they had to remove them from that part of the game due to licensing. I read they removed them in the update notes.

You can find them in the vault if people uploaded them back then. There's a goid one by JustLionz that I started a franchise with recently. But im sure there are others

@fubar2k7 I'm sure you're right. That's the only reason I can think of that makes sense. It's weird that they couldn't just remove them from the original default rosters though.

I agree. You should be able to start a franchise with players on the Mets who were there when the season started. Using them as my example.

u can delete your mlb files and reset the game with the internet off... Next time u load the game, everything will be default incl the rosters
