Looking for a new TV, could use some guidance

Looking to replace our living room tv, likely going 65 inch. Is there anything in particular i should be looking for as far as refresh rate and things like that to avoid any sort of input lag? I know most tvs now have game mode, but I’ve come across tv’s that still had it even in game mode. I know in the past, Vizio’s and Samsungs have been pretty money. Unsure about LG’s…my current Sony is great but I’ve had bad experiences in the past.
I have a ps5 if that helps. Appreciate any feedback!

I bought a 4K TCL 55inch (4 or 5 series, dont' recall) from Costco for $280 a year ago. I have my Xbox Series X hooked up to it and it's the best tv i've bought. Not just for gaming but for pretty much everything.
It will do 4K for XB and PS5. I think it's 60hz but I can live with that.
If you're on a budget, I'd recommend it. I think you have to actually walk into Costco physically to buy it. I don't think they sell it online.
