So this morning I hooked up my kids monitor to my PS5 and did some batting practice. I was absolutely blown away at the difference. I have always heard playing on a large TV was a competitive disadvantage, but I would have never guessed the variance was that great.

Wih that said, i am 100% purchasing a monitor today.

    Any suggestions?

Ill also add im not a huge gamer. I play MLB The Show more than anything by a wide margin.

    LG C2 OLED 42" or Gigabyte M32U 32"

Both gaming monitors with 2.1 HDMI

The newer Gigabyte M27U uses a better panel than the M28U and M32U, and is cheap right now. Obviously LG OLED TVs or OLED Monitors are your best option if you have the budget.

I feel like I wrote this post. I need to buy a new monitor and only play for the most part MLB. I’m either too early or too late on dead center pitches.
