I checked the age on the Willie mays cards thinking based on the ratings it must have been very late in his career. He is 26 on the card. That year was 4th in mvp voting, had 35 home runs, led the league in triples and stolen bases, and slugged 626. SDS please at least change his age on the card to 41 and change the team to the Mets. Then the card actually would make sense.

I know right. He went 30/30 that season. Compare that season to Trout’s 30/30 season and the only thing Trout did more was steal more bases. Now compare this card to the Trout 30/30 card.

I stopped caring at all,earlier today when first, they released a gold AS card of a player that had a diamond AS card from set 3 and both cards were the same year.
Then later on discovered (from facing in mini seasons) that Babe Ruth throws 97-100, his pitching cards have thrown 92 until this one. -

Heck some of the cards arn't even tested when they come out, looking at you TA Randy Johnson.

They know people will possibly buy stubs to buy that trout card. They have no interest at all in giving us a card that would equal it. I don’t understand the Willie hate this year at all. All I know is they do everything they can do to make sure you can’t load up on stubs like previous years. Every grindable rewards is no sell which for normal players makes it impossible to come up with nearly a million stubs to buy that card. They know this. That’s why they won’t release a card Willie deserves because they can’t make money off it. I personally would run a decent mays in center over trout any day

I wonder if there was a staff shakeup this year. That guy Luis used to be on nearly all the streams in previous years and it seemed like he was the guy overseeing content and ratings. I haven’t all the stream but I ve seen a few clips and I haven’t seen him this year.

Definitely seems like a very different approach this year with no definitive game plan or layout. Things need a major tweak next year to stay viable.
