    But ...

i hate the art for these incognito cards, looks like an obituary picture, especially for guys that had passed away.

Let’s hope they backtrack this year.

Like it or not it’s the EA model

You see the Ronaldo, the Messi, the Pele but in reality they’re behind a massive paywall or a lucky pack.

Not quite , because you can grind to get the best cards . Imma grind for trout.
So it's pay to win , or grind to win or luck to win , your choice .
That's not my complaint with set 4
My complaint is the lack of variety in players especially legends.

The best card art will ALWAYS be the actual Topps BB cards, honorable mention to signature and awards art. It's gets out of hand after that, I'm positive they were drunk this year with the kaiju, snapshot and incognito art.

Some of the Finest card art over the years has also been good. I liked 19 and 22.

I actually like the kaiju and incognito, it gives them an excuse to give a diamond card to players who otherwise might not get one .
    Nicknames are part of baseball.
I think the snapshot art is a little weird but ok.
Card art is not a deal breaker for me though.

It's funny. I tell myself the same thing... "I don't care what the card art looks like".

But... There's a small part of my brain that says "This card is ugly and I don't want to use it".

I think for me I can get past the art for these new series (art is unique to the beholder)……I think for me in the disconnect with stats bothers me more (feels like arbitrary adjustments of the player overall profile to ensure they can create a low 90, 95, 97 and multiple 99 versions of the same player as we move through the seasons)…..type of card feels lost/pointless (curious to see how much excitement there will be for finest when most will look just like their all star cards….which they be able to use again 60 days after finest launches anyways)

I really wish SDS used the original Topps card art more often. I’ve only been here since ‘21, but I’ve noticed a significant reduction in original Topps cards. Could they be introducing all these new series so they have a catalog to use going forward when Topps ends its MLB contract next year?

I'm usually defending the game from over the top anger , but I can't defend this set .
As an Angels fan the only card I really want is new trout, but what did I get fir TA ?
    Salmon ,
    Hunter Renfro captain
    Brandon marsh
    .
Ya'll couldn't get me a Jered Weaver, Angels Nolan Ryan , Angels Reggie Jackson, or a captain Garrett Anderson.
I know some people didn't like the Kaiju or incognito, I personally liked them , but the new red carpet cards or whatever the f they are wtf are those.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to play but common sds . This is baseball not barbie movie.

Firstly Garrett Anderson is no longer in the game, not sure about Weaver. I’m happy with the 97 Salmon. The highest he got last year was a 94. Also, having used the Marsh card in the previous year, he rakes
