Didn't we have the same discussion before the last big content drop with some expecting SDS to start releasing info earlier than they usually do?
I never start looking for details until the day before a content update.

They used to start dropping divisions one at a team the week leading up to new TA ( which this basically is again)…..there is no doubt they are asleep at the wheel and whomever said “How can they expect their user base to be excited if they obviously are not” was spot in.

Oh yeah, this year for sure. But the last two years, they have had teasers, they’d announce whole divisions. I remember for TA 4 in 21 they started posting players like 10 days in advance. Last year, they’d give clues with silhouettes etc. That was way more fun and interactive.
This is either pure laziness or they really think it’ll make everyone want to watch the stream but I can’t stomach those anymore. The time it takes them to go around and ask, who are you going after? Or showing every players attributes along with all the “Let’s Go!!!!!” And set congratulatory clapping and laughing at things that aren’t funny- no thanks.
Oh no, I’ve become a cynic!!!

Ashley is terrible on the streams. She feels like she has to comment on everything. If she toned it down a little and let the other guys talk some that would be great.

It kinda bums me out. If they aren’t excited about it, how are we supposed to be. I mean marketing 101, give people a reason to come back, this ain’t it.
Honestly I think they have really planned ahead to revamp the content roll out next year it's legitimately the only logical explanation I can think of

If that were only the case. They have cut and pasted this game pretty much since 18 only the pitch speeds have changed. They have a real chance to make this game great. Like if it were like 17 without the late is great. Unfortunately they have gone the Player Retention route so don't expect anything monumental in the future.

SDS has had weeks or more to plan for this and this is what they give us?.... i'm really confused now. Is this still a baseball game?
These may be some of the worst/laziest designed baseball cards (if you can even call them that) i've seen SDS put out.

That to me would be like planning a sequel to a movie before you finished filming the 1st one. It’s August, the best part of the baseball season hasn’t happened. If that is really what they do, then that would be a real shame. Why would I care about next year when we haven’t even gotten through the best part of this year. That would be like the Braves throwing in the towel right now and planning for 2024. But maybe SDS is the Padres and they know this season will Ana lost cause.
And I’m all for the programmers planning ahead but the social media team? That’s supposed to be real time marketing.
I’m not sure what to say about these cards. Are they trolling us at this point? It’s almost like they’re saying- careful what you wish for. Oy, never thought I’d see the day when I was down on this game but these cards look like my 2nd grade nephew pasted them together in his arts and crafts class
