What is your definition of "content"?

Some people seem to gripe about content. I'm assuming it's the different modes in the game .
Which this game has plenty of imo .
 We got ranked
 Coop
 Mini seasons
 All thr different programs
 Rtts
 Showdown
 BR
 Events
 Casual
 Play vs cpu
This is a baseball game , the content is going to be ...wait for it ........ baseball.
If this game had zero "content " I would still play , because it's baseball.

My definition of content is not simply modes, but what gets added to the mode. Ranked isn't "content", but a new ranked season with new rewards is. Game and content are separate in my eyes, Baseball game doesn't = baseball being the content. It's like a game getting new characters, so new cards is new content. Casual never changes, why would it be considered content? Maybe on day one you can argue it's part of the content, but if it doesn't get touched, it's just a mode now. Hope I explained how i view it in understandable terms

Cards are definitely content. Adding a version of the homerun derby into DD would also be content.
