How’s this for commitment to the cause? Had hisself an easy cycle but he didn’t even hesitate for a nanosecond when he saw it could be a double. THAT is a ball player folks. Wow.

This brings up the obvious question which is why don’t we have a name for this? When you eclipse the cycle such as in this example where he only needed a single for the cycle and got it, but stretched it into a double…a power cycle? An extended cycle? It should be recognized but it won’t be.
