Popeye had a great “sea-walk”….

…as did Captain Jack Sparrow. Way back when I was in the USMC, you could tell a salty Marine from afar by his sea-walk, even if he was disguised in a brand new pair of cammies.
The way I see it, the ‘Strikeout Strut’ or “K-strut” is baseballs answer to the sea walk. The best strut of all time belongs to Scherzer….hands down. Alas, there are others.

Big time. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Hope he gets it back together I’ll never forget that game where he was mic‘d up and let the announcer make the pitch selection for his strikeout that was pretty epic I have to admit

Last night I rewatched Scherzer pitch his legendary 20 strikeout performance from back on May 11, 2016 against the Detroit Tigers. He had an incredible game and nearly wore out a cattle trail as he strutted his stuff around after each strikeout.
THAT lineup was no pushover! Kinsler, Justin Upton, JD Martinez…Miggy! Victor Martinez to this was an impressive outing. Love ya, Mad Max! -
Mark Fidrych.

There’s a perfect one for the analogy. Like a well developed sea walk Fidrychs strut went everywhere with him lol
