Jimmy Rollins vs Cal Ripken Jr.

I have Cal right now, but since Set 4 is coming out soon, should I abandon him and get Rollins? Also, when do you guys think this will happen: a. rollins drops in price or b. captains pack comes out again. If I wanted to use Cal, I'd have to use him for my Wild Card next season, and 30-40% of my team is Set 2.

Well i think the whole cpt thing is abit overrated, id go the ROLLINS route. He is core, frees up a WC slot. We just had a flash sale, so it will be a month before there is another one. Price will only go i imagine on both Ripken and Rollins. Also, no guarantee in the next flash sale that there will be a Capt pack sale. This past Flash Sale, there was only Set 2 Capt Pack Flash Sale, No Core. So theres that as well. .

Why can't we just have really good cards. This Captain boosting is stupid to me and cards that expire well....if they are trying to weed people out, they are doing a great job.

I literally lose sleep over my lineup decisions. You factor in secondary position penalties I literally lose sleep over my lineup decisions. You factor in secondary position penalties, quirks, the opponents bullpen depth…which bench players you need…but wait NOW there’s captains so if you want the boost you gotta change it all again. I can’t even believe that there could be more of them coming down the pike. Where my NyQuil I can’t take this

I think it all ties in with the Jeter angle.
He was as you know, Yankee Captain, and is in The Show for the first time, so they committed to the Captain thing. That's what I think. -
I have both captains and I wouldn’t say one is better than the other. It just depends on your team build. Ripken does seem to help a lot more players though.
