The people who aren't good enough (like me!) will keep earning PXP and earn the cards eventually 3 program points at a time.
Frankly, it's the fairest option they could have done.

Exactly, i now have 40 points and i'm going to take my time and just enjoy the ride.

The only problem with the Extreme program (it's beyond my ability to do more than 4-5 moments and then chip away at pxp) is that it's the only content for 2 weeks.
-
Moments aren’t even needed. Tons of Points available in Mini Seasons. Even if you don’t want to try for Legend Wins (not any harder than HOF online) you can do the 30Ks by always selecting Road games and just pitching the first inning. Get 2 Ks and then Quit. Repeat. 6 points = 2 Moments

It ruins the fun out of the game. Stresses me out. I'd rather play vs a player then do extreme content vs ai.
Then do so. Nobody is forcing you to do the extreme program.
@samguenther1987 said in No more Extreme please:
Less then 5% will finish this program and thats the way extreme is meant to be, it's a challenge. It's meant to be done in months not days, certainly not over 1 weekend.
Making the cards sellable would defeat the purpose of the program because everyone would just buy all the cards I see no reward in that.I both agree and disagree. The challenge is the point of the Extreme. Aboslutely. It should be hard
But if only 5% earn the cards and they all sell them then it's not like there are extra cards on the market. It is still the same number of cards they are just in different hands.
It makes no difference to me either way though. I'm not good enough to earn it and too poor/cheap, stub-wise, to purchase it.
-
If there's no new TN, I'll just leave it for Friday, and try the Mini-Seasons for EXT vouchers. For some reason, I haven't touched Conquest yet!
I only have Morel and the 3HR Moments left.
I'm on Vacation, so there's no rush, but to not even touch it means I don't want to do it!
I have Wags, and Ketel, so far. -

My issue is not the program itself I didn’t do it last year and won’t this year but to release nothing else for two weeks is dumb

O well that we can agree on, 30 days left in set 3 and we get radio silence for two weeks? Riddiculus move

In extreme mini seasons last night, knew I was in for it,as I've been having trouble with AS outlier, "knew" I was screwed when I gave up 3 in top1 and Walter Johnson going for them.dont know why I kept going, but in bot 1 I hit a pair of solos off Johnson, then in bot 2 hit a pair off of TA Crochet, and won 4-3.
Once I realized I could come back, yeah I was loving the challenge -

Making the cards sellable would defeat the purpose of the program because everyone would just buy all the cards I see no reward in that. I may not do the moments but i am certainly going to use Wagner, Marte etc until there missions are done and i'll have fun doing it too.
This one is actually really watered down compared to the first one i ever did in 2019, there was no repeat of PXP and the conquest map was more difficult than then one (i actually love the set up for the conquest map this year) and we didn't have mini seasons to get vouchers from.
I believe a lot more than 5% will complete it. It won't be quickly but there are easy ways to finish it. They're time consuming but much easier.

Ok thats fair, my only point was that extreme should be hard not something to be done quickly.

I wish the cards were also sellable. Not because it’s extreme, but because I wish EVERYTHING was potentially sellable.
If I earn it, I should have the choice what to do with it Keep it, sell it, QS it, should be up to me as the owner of the card.
IMO.
-
If they continue with extreme they have to increase the difficulty. People shouldn’t be finishing extreme in a couple days

I understand the WS and Flawless rewards not being sellable when earned through the program because anyone can "achieve" them in that manner just by playing a lot. You don't even have to win a single game and you can still get those rewards.
If Extreme rewards were sellable, they would all be priced incredibly high like Elly or Mantle currently due to the difficulty in obtaining them.
Everything else should be sellable though IMO.

Oh, I agree I have posted several times how they seem to be leaving the non-Extreme people in limbo for two weeks.
I even posted the same thing on reddit and got ridiculed and downvoted to oblivion.
My issue with the delay is that there is a good chance my already miniscule playtime is cut even more come Sept. Just too many other games I want to play coming out.

I understand not everyone wants to, or does complete all of the programs but why wouldn't people even want to attempt Extreme?
I am not what anyone would consider an average player, much worse TBH, but I will still complete every aspect of the Extreme program (Showdown, Conquest, Moments, & Mini) because I like to be challenged. I could complete it just by playing Mini on AS a bunch of times but there is no real challenge doing that IMO.
It won't be easy nor will it be quick, I will become very frustrated/irritated multiple times and will break numerous old controllers* out of said frustration/irritation, but I will complete it.
*I like to pick up a few cheap PS4 controllers at a local Pawn Shop for a buck or two to smash to pieces when I get extremely irritated. Better than breaking a $60 controller.

KevinGohd from Youtube finished moments in 10 hours. I have no patience for moments. I'd rather take my time with pxp.

I will say the conquest was the most fun I’ve had grinding offline in a long time and I’ve really enjoyed the mini seasons so far. It’s not easy to get challenged by the AI in any game. Madden, 2k, MLB.. you can always dominate the CPU. This is actually a little challenging and fun.
I won’t touch the moments or showdown though. I hate moments and showdowns are just glorified moments.
If they made showdowns count PXP for the players you use like in BR, I’d probably feel a lot better about playing them.

Not my cup of tea I do every other program but this one is too difficult for me and I accept that so I wish something else minor was available I am just asking for Topps now on Friday

If you can beat the CPU on AS, then you can finish Extreme. It'll take a while but no one said it has to be done in a specific time limit.
